Forgot one...

6. To improve my Mandarin, which sucks way more than it should. A month in China should help; after that, I've signed up for a conversation class at a local college.

I spent a month in China once a couple years back -- an experience of a lifetime! July was super hot and muggy, so I don't know what winter is like. Sure looks cold in your pic, tho!

I think the technical term is, "FREAKIN' COLD!!!!" Depends on where you are, of course. I'll be in the southwest part of the time, and that's fairly temperate. The north though...freakin' cold...
